Material/Components: ready-to-use modelling mass
Metal powder (fine silver 999), water, organic binder
Shrinkage 12-15 % depending from firing temperature
Usage: PMC Paste is delivered is not sealed in a vacuum, but in a small container by the manufacturer. Therefore it might occur that the paste dries a little after some time. In this case add a little destilled water and let it rest over night. In case, the paste is dried fully, you can reconstitute the clay by grinding and newly adding water.
Firing: requires a firing kiln for sintering
from 600-900° for 10-75 minutes accoring to firing schedule
Melting point: 960°C (1762°F)
Attention: Do not allow PMC®to come in contact with aluminium. The binder may react with the aluminium and prevent the PMC to sinter in the firing process. When using aluminium tools like cutters remove the tool immediately from the clay after use and store the tools in a seperate place.
