This is a beautiful elegant pendant sterling silver pendant bail. Embed this pendant bail into almost each metal clay. Cut a notch into the silver clay pendant to which you want to apply the bail and fit the bail into this notch together with a bit of fresh silver clay. Dependent from the weight of the silver clay jewelry, you may need to run a short pieces of silver wire throught the rings of the bail. This will give more assistance to the joint. If the silver clay piece of jewelry is not thick enough to hold the ring of the pendant bail, you should embed the ring between a sandwich like construction. Make a small counter piece to the pendant, sandwich the bail between this piece and the original pendant, apply a bit of slip.

This sterling silver pendant bail is recommended to embed into PMC Sterling, PMC Pro and PMC3 as well as other silver metal clay. Be aware not to fire sterling silver embeddables higher than 800-850°C. As silver metal clays have a wide firing range, it may not be a problem to use the appropriate firing temperatue. Even some of the non-precious, colored metal clayss like bronze clay and copper clay are suitable to be used with this sterling silver pendant bail.
