Drilling a small hole into unfired clay prior to using the stone setting burs guides the burs more easily. Then cut with the bur deep enough so that the stone will be set slightly deeper than the clay surface.

We recommend our pin vise for safe and comfortable use of drills and burs.

When using the burs for unfired metal clays, remove the metal dust from time to time with a small stainless steel brush.
